Hi! My name is Jenny Danko, and for as long as I can remember I have always loved drawing and creating things. This love of creating made me want to pursue a career in art. That led me to attend Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), where I graduated with a BFA degree in illustration. To become a well rounded artist, I also pursued classes in storyboarding, sequential, animation and motion media, which helped me to discover new ways to explore and create.
I started experimenting with scanning in traditional textures and adding them to parts of my illustrations, until I stumbled upon the look of digital cut paper by accident. The textures can be found materials like different types of paper, or created by spreading different types of mediums. From there I kept experimenting and pushing the textures till I came up with the look of real cut paper.
